Spectroscopy
Determine the properties of an object by integrating a DAYY light source into a spectroscopic solution
Spectroscopy uses light to analyze the properties of materials by examining how the light interacts with them. A spectrometer separates and displays these light properties for detailed study.
DAYY Photonics light sources are ideally suited for integration into spectroscopic systems, providing the stability, bandwidth, and precision required for accurate and reliable measurements.

- Parameters such as light output power and spectral coverage can easily be modulated, allowing for spectroscopic analysis to either be tailored to the appropriate application or conducted with changing optical variables to assess how the relationship between light output and matter responds to different parameters.
- New techniques and development are arising to meet specific needs and other challenges driven by progress in coherent light sources.
- The DAYY R&D team works on enabling technologies and lasers that directly emit over the NIR spectrum. Future innovation can be developed over a broad mid-IR spectral span. While now scarce, it is under active development.
